Mini Supermoto Build

So I picked up a 49cc mini dirt bike today for $40. The guy said it was seized but when I got it home it pulled over no problem. My plan is to turn it into a mini supermoto. I would like if anybody has any ideas of what mods to do to it. Any input would be appreciated. If anyone has done this before, I would like to see it.

Welcome! Lots of mods. It has a cag engine and those things are endlessly modular.

I would start out with a proper air filter and fiber glass reeds. You can get this stuff at pocket bike parts.com or anywhere on eBay.

Nice, I wonder how comfy those bars are. When you turn are you planning on going knee down or foot out? Just curious with your peg situation.

Re: Mini Supermoto Build

Mine was built to ride down dirt trails aswell as rip some power wheelies.....The side plan was to give it studded tires to be able to ride on ice too........

The main preference to turning isnt either of those styles....Its like pitbike style and cag style riding mixed together except theres no desire to drag a knee because you cant tuck too good....Leg out style is mainly stand up scooters

When you have lots of bikes built all different ways for different occaisions its almost as great as choosing a different daily clothing ensemble to accent the day or the mood....

If I feel like dragging a knee I have my Polini 910 aswell as a real streetbike to fill those thrills.......Some are built for tracks n streets some are built for going in straight lines for dragracing purposes and some are built for thrashing...

The BMX handlebars are almost 12" higher plus a few inches further forwards than the stock cag bars that was on there so even with my long legs I can ride it more comfortable than when it was a cag and has the ability to control some really nice high speed rear powerslides..........

I meant leg out like mx or superhero. But cool. That's interesting. Have you done anything to the motor? Carb air filter? You got a 910? I want one bad. Is yours A/c or w/c?

Re: Mini Supermoto Build

An air cooled 911 w/ 6.5" rims would be better.

Yeah Its a 910 watercooled with 4.2 cases....In case you didnt get the memo...Its CAM2 Im having problems getting logged in as the main laptop Ive been sing for a logon broke a couple days ago..

VS has been not so helpful in regaining me access again.......LOL

As far as the supermoto build...The engine was a 4 port build built the way I build almost all my engines that arent being built for alky........

When I first built the bike I tried using a stock modded to 15mm's floater carb but the float kept sticking and giving problems.I also ran it wide open no exhaust at the time. The second pic has the pumper carb

Its got better porting, blueprinted bottomend, polished internals,,lightened/windowed piston,,modded stock reed plate,,,Pumper carb retrofit kit with WT813 carb,hp wire mod, modded intake, lightened flywheel and a rocket key set advanced,

The exhaust i added after is just a square box...no pipe....gearing was 6/68 and the clutch was lightened to grab hard at 7500....

Since the weather wont cooperate and allow mother nature to make solid ice to traverse on the last 5 years so the studded tire plan was scrapped....

I am out here in California, lately keep getting cut off of PBP, hard to get anything done when you are recovering the web page every minute. If it continues might not see me around a lot. Hard to type text, and upload photos when you keep getting Cut Off.

Yep...I hear ya,,,,with the newly implemented security on internet traffic and the overwhelming amount of people gumming up the web with all sorts of protocols we're due for a huge worldwide crash from all the hackers trying to melt it down...

It also sucks to know even though america implemented broadband and dsl we're far behind in the times compared to other countries,,,thats why international hackers are so powerful...

Somebody needs to run this problem by president trump......how can he make america great again with a forty second rate internet system...?

http://theweek.com/articles/449919/w...-internet-slow

The tree huggers are trying to blame greenhouse gasses for bouncing the signal back into space..........Well if thats true then somebody needs to shutdown the carbon dioxide being pumped out of all the volcanoes around the world aswell as methane being produced from the coral reefs.......Maybe if enough jump in it will plug them up...LOL

Re: Mini Supermoto Build

Another reason its slower is, everyone is uploading movies to there phone and cable devises. They take up a lot of space on broadband. 41st in upload speeds, even Africa has way faster speeds, Pitiful!!!
