What types of replacement motors for GRC RSR?

Just picked up a GRC RSR pocket bike (no motor and water pump). I do have radiator and exhaust pipe. I'm sure there was a 316 polini motor on before. Just wondering of what aftermarket bolt-on motors would fit.

Yep, it looks like an RSR, my avatar bike is an earlier bike GRC GP w/ all alum one piece frame, building a 40cc BZM engine right now for it. Now it has a China clone Polini, with Polini 80mm Clutch housing and BZM 2 shoe racing clutch. On eBay you can buy a clone engine for around $250 direct from China. A clone water pump is $25. A Euro engine is $ 1,300 to $2000 plus dollars, my BZM billet racing water pump is $175.
This is the engine in my avatar bike right, and thats not the real drive belt, it's an O ring belt.
I looked on eBay, I could only find the 39cc Blata C1 water cooled engine, not sure if that will fit.

Saw these 39cc motors on eBay. Wondering if these would be a bolt on for the GRC RSR. The only problem would be the exhaust. The exhaust manifold seems extremely different, like a male/female type rather than the 2 bolt attachment flange. Anyone have any experience with these motors .... MT A4 Blata type engines from China.

Will not fit. I sent you a link for the proper motor in one of your threads for a rep polini.

Re: What types of replacement motors for GRC RSR?

Even if it is $100 S/H its still a pretty good deal over all, considering there are no engines on eBay in the USA. There is a 21% VAT tax also on anything leaving Italy, and they call it free trade. If the US starts charging 21% plus on entry to the US, everyone would have a fit, lol.
I tried to put the Blata engine in my GRC and the back of the engine don't fit into the frame, would have to grind away on the alum frame to try to make it fit, and the top mount does not line up either. Personally I like the 35% US import tax idea, lol.

Thanks to everyone for all the much needed info. My motor came in from Italy shipped all the way to Hawaii. Hooked up everything and the bike runs perfect. I'm having soooooo much fun and my boys love it.
