Hi All

Hey Everyone,
I'm new to pockebikes, and my interest is more in building\rebuilding and modifying them than in riding them. Riding them on-road is actually illegal where I live, although that really doesn't seem to stop most people. Anyway, I just bought a couple off of kijiji (Canadian Craigslist I guess) to start out with. Well, I say "a couple" but one is just a rubbermaid tote full of parts. I'm going to have to identify what are, exactly, and then try to find a source for parts. Tried looking at the thread on member rides, but it was a lot of clicking and I didn't recognize anything. Certainly there were no rubbermaid bins full of dirty parts
Cheers,
Rory

Hi rory welcome to PBP, even if it's illegal on the streets you may be able to find some empty Parking lots in your area and lay out some cones for a makeshift track

Re: Hi All

Thanks! I actually also have an acre or so of lawn that I don't take good care of, and so don't mind messing it up a bit more.

Re: Hi All

Get a mini dirt bike, 50cc 2 stroke. A pocket bike is not going to do very good in the dirt, especially on slick tires, even the threaded tires don't work either, you need knobby tires.

Re: Hi All

There are great priced little mini dirt bikes out there 2 and 4 stroke, some have 10" wire spoke wheels, some have mags like Kray15s avatar bike. If you can post photos we can help you, there pretty simple, almost Caveman for gas powered engines, lol. They also have mini 4 wheel ATVs, in 2 stroke 49ccs and 4 stroke 50cc to 125cc. I have a super pocket bike class 110cc ZX1 Extreme 4 speed manual clutch dirt bike and a 125cc 4 wheel ATV w/ auto trans w/ shift stick forward and reverse. $549.99 and $199 shipping, the sad part of the deal.
