X18R Paddock Swing Arm Lift, Pits

Since its hard to lift Super Pocket Bikes front or rear wheels or all of it off the ground, because of the under body, this lift is perfect. CAM2, you could use one of these if you don't have already, lol. On eBay, seller, factorydirectsale, $32.99, free shipping, I had to pay CA. sales tax $2.97, or $35.96 total. They have one for the front also $30, picks the front off the axle nuts. Might buy one of them next month if they still have any left. It is L shaped, has a frame and wheels, you roll it under the rear swing arms pull back 90 degrees till it is laying on the ground and just like the F1 Grand Prix cars are lifted during the pit stops, dirt bikes also. See photo.

Man, I did not know H/F Tools even had them, I have there 1500lb. ATV, motorcycle lift, won't lift the X18, it's to big, to lift my 125cc ATV with it have to put 2x4" on the arm pads to clear the exhaust that hangs down. I have all kinds of bottle jacks, and Nascar type, but they don't work without 2 people and 2 jack stands. The X18 last time took 20 minutes to get the rear wheel on jack stands. It should make it a lot faster, will make my own pieces to lift the front wheel.

Yeah it surprised me too and then I bought it....It works ok....Really lightweight but the brackets that hold the axlenuts are kinda cheesy.....I also bought the motorcycle tire bead breaker tool that day too.............LOL

Sometimes ya gotta look upwards for help when youre mainly a 1 man band...........

A homemade doublewide 2x6 frame 8ft wide x 8ft high gantry lift can sometimes come in handy in lots of situations....

In the house with the huge basement I had eyelet hooks screwed into the floor joists overhead that I used to lift dirtbikes, quads and pocketbikes using ratchet straps from the handlebars and the footpeg brackets.....

You can see the extra piece my ATV motorcycle lift came withunder the buggy.......Those HF units need hydraulic oil added to them..........

Wow, it came today, UPS, the USPS don't work on Columbus Day. Took 2 Minutes to assemble it, a just a few seconds to lift the rear. I am one happy camper today, the best $35 shipped pocket bike piece I have spent for in a long time, lol. Now see if it will lift the front, might have to make some adaptors to make that work, but should be pretty easy, lol.

I've seen those ones. But unfortunately as of know I don't have a lot of money. I have a summer job but during the school years the hours don't work well. But I also did some basic "landscaping" and mowing some lawns in the summer as well. Also I sell some possessions I have no use for anymore. But most of my money has went too buying my bikes and trailer. I'll see if I can get a deal on a used one. Save my back from. Kawasaki. Let the good times roll.....

Re: X18R Paddock Swing Arm Lift, Pits

Poketbik, you doing good, got a great little Lucky 7 with PBU parts you can't get anymore. Look at the rear sprocket on the X18 on the lift, it's a PBU 28 tooth #420 billet aircraft alum sprocket, 6061-T6 I believe, with gold chain and a new 15 tooth front sprocket, 16 was to much, have a 13 also if needed. I think the lift will work on Cags and C1s and the like also, block the front tire a few inches in the air and lift the rear arms. The square tubes w/ metal rubber covered holders slide in and out and lock.

Re: X18R Paddock Swing Arm Lift, Pits

Actually for my L7 I got something really similar. Its like the stand you just got but without wheels and for foot pegs. I'm pretty sure you got one. And yeah my pb is light so I mean lifting it on the stand isn't too much work. And I also got that one I fabbed up. Lets me sit cross legged on the ground and the bike is at eye level. Its perfect also if your starting it my back gets sore cause i'm hunched over. Unfortunately my bikes resting in the basement for the year due to winter. Gonna see if I can get one of those stands for my dirt bike used though.
