ok so i really havent worked on my X18 in a while but we will talk about that later. so when i moved to ohio i had 2 X7's one was a parts expiriment bike, the other just kinda sat there. it ran but i did a head chop and pretty much made a monster out of my yellow x7. so i was bored and completely disassembled the other x7. this is the build. please, ive already make a good 49cc motor. but im hoping cam2 or one of the other resident mad professors will chime in and tell me some more tips and tricks to unlocking even more power out of this thing.">

Seeings your changing the piston and rings you should also replace the pin and pin bearing...........It all goes hand in hand and will insure a descent topend refurb.......

well i got good news and bad news. i got my plug BUT i have huge issues with the head. had everything looking great and it ran for a second but i lost all compression. i guess when i did the chop i took tthe walls too thin. so i ordered a ported 1 piece head. im just gonna run a 1 piece setup sadly....but im sure with my ported piston and my ported head and widening the ports on the intake and exhaust should be good. im really bummed though...oh well i guess you cant win em all

well i took the head to a local machine shop and there machining it right now. there taking .010 off and making sure its a true flat level deck. thats why it failed yesterday...so hopefully it will be ok
