Re: Walbro Carbs. 12 Page repair tuneup Guide.

Now most of the info is useful. But tuning a model airplane and tuning a bike are two different things. As the airplane tuner tunes for max RMP's without a load. Which if you tune your bike in this manner it will leave your bike running way to lean at the top end. We need to tune with a load. For tuning a Walbor carb for your bike go to the 2-stroke MidBike how's 2 section

Nice! The prop and drag do load these when used in R/C planes and boats. I would agree not like a bike, but close.

Yes I know there is some good infor there forsure. I just wanted to clearify the tuning side of it for the bikes is all.
Since your just looking for high speed runs the last thing you want is for it tobe running to lean up top. Your gunna want it to run as rich as it will let you without it sputtering up in the top end.

Re: Walbro Carbs. 12 Page repair tuneup Guide.

StrayDawg,
Thanks for that, in the back pages the I believe there was even 4 stroke
stuff too.
I was just on another thread, talking Sailor, he just got his 50cc C1, and he took the head off, and he thinks its is a 40cc, he ordered the Camel Honda Rep,. and got a Orange Honda! 39mm bore, 36mm stroke=
39.69cc.
Remember we talked about these 6 days ago, when you asked me, how do I know I got a 50cc, and it was because of the #1 on the Cyldr. Dam,
now I don't know what I am going to do??? Did they just make an honest
mistake, cause they charge you $50 extra for 46cc, I asked myself how can they give you a bigger eng. for $50!
Save Me Mister Bill, waiting to hear from Sailor before I call or Pull the
Head!!! EPR!
