Exclamation Fieldsheer?? would you use them for racing?

Hey everyone, i'm trying to get an opinion on racing gear. Was wondering if anybody uses Fieldsheer suits for racing http://www.midsouthminimoto.com/inde...OD&ProdID=1255 and if they are any good. saw the price and thought it was pretty good to compared to 2k suits i have seen. Or maybe just reply oh what suit has worked for you. Thanks guys for your help!!

I have a used 2 piece Fieldsheer suit (size48 fit my nephew who's 5'9" 175lbs very well)I'll sell for $250.00 + shipping. I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture. Thanks, Dave

P.S. It's white w/ dark blue & light blue stripes,
bought it for my son but won't fit.

Just look at it this way, Anything that will provide adequate protection keeping your skin seperated from the pavement besides jeans and a t-shirt is well worth the $$ spent. Just make certain you get the correct size or 1 size up if your strictly using it for PB's because you want the armour to be in the correct position on your body. If the suit is to big the armour is useless and if the suit is to tight you will not be able to ride your PB correctly.

I used to be the Chief Technical Officer for Fieldsheer and have 3 Fieldsheer suits and over 10 Fieldsheer jackets.

<--- The suit and gloves I am wearing in my Avatar is Fieldsheer.

I love my Fieldsheer gear. Crashed more than once in it and have never had any problems.

MelloCag is correct. Go a little large on the suit as it will help you fit on your PB better, but don't go to big or the armor will not be positioned in the correct places to protect you.

Arlen Ness suites are $230 - $350 locally. A guy we race with but is not on the Forums races with a 2 peice Arlen Ness suite he got for $230. brand new with sliders. They come in Black/Maroon/White, Black/White/Blue, Black/White/Silver, and I think Red/White/Black. I couldnt find em' on the arlen ness website so im sure I will have to drive down to Pleasanton and p/UP 1.

Daniel... still waiting to hear back from Trinna (Race director) shes not gonna be back till after the holidays. We discussed the regular race fee that the karts pay plus non-member fees dont quote me on this but smewhere in the neighborhood of $35. plus whatever the non-member fees are. Pocket bikes go in as visitors and will not be able to get memberships yet. Kart members get a card key to the gate for practice! Maybe when the sport grows and has some stability PB's will gain memberships.

For the price Arlen Ness suits are great deals. The black one hanging up at Up1 is pretty nice huh? Unfortunately that style only comes in black/white but still a great looking suit. I can probably help you find one
if you really want one.

Yeah I feel you it does get tough to get out of a 1pc at times especially after a full day of riding. 2pc suits are fine too but they weigh a bit more then a 1pc but not by much at all. Give Willy a ring.
