Helmet Choices?

Sadly I sold my Gixer awhile back and with it, went my beautiful ariai helmet. Loved that thing.

Well now Im back in the market for a new helmet. Not looking to drop 300 for my toy - but want to be protected.

I was just wondering if any of you use a motocross helmet instead of a full face. Looking to know what your thoughts on this was and how the motocross helmet has been working out. I think the motocross helmets are looking bad a$$ lately, and figured I might give one a try. Their price point is good also.

not many people are out on Pb's with arai helmets
i use an HJC CL-14, it is a sub $200 helmet with *** and Snell approvals
get what fits you and is comfortable, their are several good helmets to be had for very reasonable prices

personally i prefer the full face helmets, just keeps debris out of your face and adds the extra protection,

I use an Arai Quantum/f and im soon getting an Rx-7 Consair...

i use a motocross helmet, i had it for my mountain bike so it works out. I really like it, i think it looks cool, lol but so do the other helmets. I sometimes wher goggles wen riding but i like having more air on my face. just my oppinion. I would get either one i could find cheaper.

I got mine at a mountain bike store. any good bike store should have them i'm sure their are other places. maybe try a motocross store? and then theres always e bay

Well I was able to find a place online that handles overstock type stuff. I got a New HJC for 40 shipped. Thanks for the input guys/gals.

get a hjc cl-14 great helmet for a great price
