Question help with a suit


I currently ride a mootorcycle and i was told by someone that u cant use textile in pocket bike racing, so i was wondering i anyone could recomend any cheap brand of leathers? and one last question, those it have to be a one suit or can it be 2 peaces? thank you very much for your time and patience

Textile is ok at least from what I thought. Most minimoto suits are a combo of textile/leather. Take a look into the joe Rocket Razor suits on EBAY they should be fine for PB racing.

Don't mean to step all over your advice here Mello.....

Joe Rocket Razor's won't cut it for PB racing. I had one and it only took one low side to see that it's not meant for multiple meetings with the asphalt. It's a different type textile compared to the ones that are on the minimoto suits.

I'd go with all leather or a minimoto suit. As with anything else, you get what you paid for.

No no stepping but it appears the same textile material GiMoto uses is close to what Joe Rocket uses. I have never personally used the Razor suit but for something economical it will be better then jeans plus it comes with sliders. I have seen leather suits go to shreads from just a couple lowsides in just one weekend the suit I have on in the avatar lol! Don't get me wrong leather will always be your best option but again something is better then nothing even if it's only for one "get-off" because it could be that crash the textile saved you from a nasty case of road rash.

I hear ya, something better than nothing. My Gimoto, although not the best around does not have the same poor textile material that my old Razor suit did. I've had my share of "get off's" (hence "Flippn"), I wore out a good set of Frank Thomas in one season. Leather is the best option but most times budget dictates..........if that's the case then you gotta do what you gotta do
