Leathers....

Hey I got a leather suit. And it is tight,I am wondering are they suppose to be tight snug fit? Will they loosen up the more i wear it sense it leather. And I am also wondering is it hard to sew back leather or do u think ill have to go to a sewing place because it will be too thick?

Re: Leathers....

Here's the trick.. If the suit is feeling like it's cutting off your circulation then it's way to tight (Painted on). If it's really snug but you can still breath freely without any discomfort then try to wear it around the house for at least 30 minutes whenever you can. This will help the leather mold to your physic. real motorbike suits never run fully down the ankle they always run a tad high because you wear full covering race boots that run up the calves just below the knees. Real minimoto suits like SPEED actually run all the way past your ankles Just try to find some boots that will run up over your ankles up to your calves you'll be fine The best time to break in a leather suit is during summer because the heat will help loosen the leather but keep in mind they will not break in a whole lot just barely one size if that. Your body sweat (oil) will also aid in breaking in a suit. Once you break it in alway always wear some sort of under armour suit. This will help keep the suit spring fresh ( smell) plus it make things alot easier when getting in/out of a snugg fit suit. Take it to a local leather repair shop they should be able to sew it up real good for cheap. I have had leather suits repaired or altered and the cost was not much at all.
