never shoulda ordered from helmets.net

i placed an order to motorcyclehelmets.net the same time i ordered my pocket bike, almost two weeks ago...

the payment went through for my vega helmet, but no helmet has arrived. i have tried to call them to get a tracking number or some form of explanation...i have left a message 3 times for the last 3 days...they dont return calls apperantly, and god forbid they have an actual person you can talk to.

i have tried emails too, no luck there, and their live support thing has been down everytime i tried to use it.

its starting to piss me off cause for the last 5 days i havent been able to ride my bike. i had to barrow the neighbors helmet to take it for a spin to tune the carberator.

now i have a couple days off i could be out riding, but no helmet.

so yeah, never again.

the same thing with evelocita pocket bikes they never reply and live support is allways down good luck trying toget your money back

Did you pay with a credit card? You can stop payment on those.

no,sadly, debit card ill wait it out, if they dont reply after me calling 3 times a day for a few days, then, ill get an attorny friend to go after em.

Even if you use a debit card you still have rights..go talk to your bank about it see if they could do anything. Also how much did you pay for your helmet? Its always a good idea to walk into a reputable shop ie motorcycle shop and get fitted properly. Motorcycle shops usually have closeouts of last year or two years ago helmets. I wouldnt purchase anything older than 2 years just because most manufacturers recommend that you replace your lid every 5-6 years because of detoriation of the materials.

I have never heard of anyone getting screwed by motorcyclehelmets.net, they probably have the stuff on back order and should have notified you about that. Very unprofessional to not give a reply though. I do not know how pocketbike racing really works, but most tech inspections. at our local motorcycle track, will fail you if the helmet is over 2 yrs. old.

boy, i got lucky...it showed up on my doorstep today! whew!

it arrived? thats good but still dont buy from them
