Re: New Giannini Race Suits, Gloves & Boots

I also bought a giannini suit, all black. I was surprised, the leather was actually thicker than what I expected, and it looks great. I haven't crashed YET, but I'm hoping that it'll stand the wear and tear of a crash. The suit, for the price, is hard to beat.

Yo Fran, I like those patches! I might have to hit you up for some!

What I can't see in the pics of the suit is knee sliders\pads...anyone know about this ?
A 42 US/UK should fit fine as your size would be a 40US/UK in big bike world.

Re: New Giannini Race Suits, Gloves & Boots

Suit arrived today and it looks absolutely fantastic ! I'm very impressed with the weight of the material and the built in protective stuff, I mean wholeee crap how did they pull off getting this thing on the market for that kind of $$$ when comparable stuff is easily twice as much at the bike shops ! Fits like a glove too and I have to wiggle it on so big thanks to Frank Giannini and the others that reassured me I was sizing correctly. I realize it may stretch a little as I break it in but really I think it's a keeper...

If your shopping for a race suit and the price of the street stuff is scaring you do consider the Giannini suits because in terms of price/features/quality it's a winner in my books

Re: New Giannini Race Suits, Gloves & Boots

Hey Comp

Try giving Ted at demonmotosports.com a call, 408-774-0932. He has these suits in stock. I bought my gear from him. Tell him Eric/snowboardgeek1 sent you, and he'll take care of you. In fact, ask him about his Speed suits and if he has any in stock with your size. He's selling those suits for only 250! Do you know your size?

I believe the price for the suit cost me 300 shipped. Might be a tad more. Its a great suit. Its cheap, with a ton of features found on high end suits.

Ted would be able to help you more with suit size than I would and yes you can exchange the suit for something bigger or smaller if needed. I don't see any reason why not. Good luck.

No leather suits do not run the same sizing as casual attire. They tend to run a bit different from brand to brand also. How tall are you, what is your waistline, and do you plan on wearing an after market back protector? Do you have wide shoulders?
