Post Ur Helmet!!!!!

Yeah evey one does but hmmm??? Didn't SHARK out score SHOEI in the helmet shoot out? So did Arai? Oh wait so did SUOMY? I also know alot about lids : )

Not in the 2006 (god i wish i knew what month) motor cyclist mag., where they compared Shoei and 3 others and also talked about how this year Shoei redesigned their helmets making a new mold for every size, not just adding or subtracting interior foam to make the helmet larger or smaller like other leading brands. This helmet cavity change created an advantage in cranium to helmet wall length, translation.... the more foam between your head and concrete the more susceptible to neck injuries, the less padding the more prodded to head injuries. Shoei found a sustainable equilibrium that has been qualitatively analyzed and proven to give the maximum support, and protection; hence Shoei won! See I to know a bit about helmets. I grew up with a lid racing from the age of 5.

MCM.. SHOEI did redesign their lids because of various complaints on only providing a oval fit therefore they had no choice. Other brands have already offered 2 shell designs the customer just had to specify when purchasing or when they go in to get fitted. You got your single impact and dual impact which will provide the best protection. Actually the extra padding offered by some lid companies was for fit so if you per say had that hard to fit nogg'n
they would provide padding to compensate for fitment. Arai does this alot and so does SHARK. Hey SHOEI is a good brand and has been around for ages but I think they are overly priced like some others. There are alot of other brands not even sold in the US or barely even being recognized that will offer the same protection at a lower cost. Racing been there so now I find more gradification selling them

Thats a nice helmet. Where did you get it and how much is it? I want/need a full face one for my new bike. I was thinking of picking up a O'Neal but im not sure yet.
