Question Suit size?

Ok, I'm going to be ordering a 6.2 this week, and I thought it'd be a good idea to get leathers for racing ... I was wondering what size would fit me ... everywhere I look, I seem to see US this and EURO that, and all these numbers that I have no idea what size they are ... I am 5'3" and a quarter, and I weigh around 110 ... what size euro and US would fit me? 48-Euro & 38-US?

Thanks Alot,
Corey

Break out a measuring tape and get your measurements and look for the appropriate "suit size" on the site below. American sizes are equivalent to European minus 10, so a US 42 would be a Euro 52.

http://www.metricbikes.com/sizingcharts.htm

The page linked to above shows Alpinestars specific sizing - I'm not positive if other brands use the same exact measurements or not, so check with the site your ordering from first by sending them the measurements.

Oops - forgot what was in the original post. Doh! That's probably a good guess since he doesn't weigh much.

AGV sizing is totally different then other suits in my opinion and they ususally run smaller sorta like Teknics. 40US or 50 Euro should fit ok in AGV but I would definatley try to try some on before purchasing.

Very good advice. The thing is, I ordered a suit online, but I went with an A-Star since I could get the exact measurements including in-seam, waist, height, everything so I was confident it would fit right. Sure enough when it arrived, it fit like a glove!

A-Stars will definately give you your moneys worth in the long run. I put nothing past AGV at all but quality wise A-stars are better. You also will have to remeber that since the suit fits like a "glove" it may be a bit uncomfy on the PB. Leather will stretch but not by much.
