Your a retard, wear one! The other day I was at my local parking lot riding and fell. My helmet saved me from almost killing my self, too bad I didnt have gloves and I was wearing a shirt so now my hands and arms are all ******D. My farings are trash and need a paint job, but its better than getting brain damage. Anyways WEAR A HELMET!!!!!!! IMO its better to look like an idiot wearing a helmet, than to look like an idiot in the hospital.
BTW: Im done with midbikes(too slow), time to get a fiddy.
doesnt matter if you going 20 or 40 mph if you fall and crack you head on the cement how cool are you now. I fell the other night and luckily i was wearing saftey gear with helmet or i would of slammed my head against the ground and probaly looked way stupid for not wearing a helmet.
I agree, just ask Indian Larry...
Oh, I guess you can't. He's DEAD because he didn't wear a helmet.
Doing tricks in a parking lot no less.
well to Legend Indian Larry helmets weren't his thing but that was his style of riding. Two kinds of riders the ones that have crashed and the ones that are going to crash.

Ya, I liked him. I guess I'm a little pissed at him for dying too soon. I used to ride street bikes without a helmet. But when you lay it down a couple times and leave a patch of your scalp on the concrete, you get religion real fast.
helmet, yep, they're great. you all have forgotten another important part. LEATHERS!
skin is skin, whether its on your head, elbows, hands or anywhere else.
A-
Leathers!!!?
Ok, now you've gone too far... Thats just plain sissy...
Next thing ya know he'll be telling you not to ride in bare feet.
I'm kidding of course. I wish the leathers weren't so expensive though.
ebay, $350. thats where i got mine a couple years ago. plus, on a pocket bike you're more likely to go down than on a street bike. if you want to do any usmgp racing you gotta have it all, back protector too.
short wheel base and small rims = squirly bike
so you really dont want an expensive set of leather cause they're gonna get messed up eventually.

you tend to push PB's alot harder then you would a street bike, and i am a big fan of spine protectors, last thing anyone needs in life is spinal injury, they never heal right and leave you with long lasting effects, the little extra protection is worth having even if it is only a slight chance of ever needing it
ya expecially if ur a high side pro (like me!!!) you fly up and come down head 1st helmets help alot p.s. people are afraid 2 folow me now they like to stay a good distance away!!!
i always fell of my old red blata but wif my new yellow minicrosser i take it easy a bit more i pull wheelies n stunts on it i ride as fast as i can i jus try 2 avoid all da crashes cuz i've had cuts from my knee dwn 2 my ankle b4 so i no wot its like n i dnt like it so dats y i take it easy my mum bought me a new wicked motocross helmet wif flames on it n a jacket 4 me da same 4 my sis u gotta b protected wen ridin any motorcycle.
I've always thought helmets make a person look better. Not sure if anyone else agrees. Leathers...wow you have no idea how much I am thankful for buying mine. I crashed on my W going not too fast but I swear I can remember sliding on the ground on my butt thinking wow there is no pain and i'm sliding for a while now.
If you ever wonder if you should wear a helmet, consider this: it was the insurance companies that pushed, and pushed, and finally succeded in passing the "No helmet" law for motorcycles. Why? Because it's alot cheaper to pay for a funeral than to keep someone alive and recovering in a hospital, kinda restores your faith in human nature, 'eh?
I put my new polini down at the track last saturday. I had just bought a pair of leather pants and could not believe I ended up with no more than a couple of small bruises after crashing at 40mph. my new bike even held up great after fliping 3 or 4 times and bouncing 4 or 5 feet in the air.
