Were to get a leather suit

yea for sure.. It does not really matter to me about the kinda of suits just want something to be safe on those turns and stuff

you dont need leather, especially for a pocket bike. I ride a full size bike and i have three jackets. One for race, winter, and summer. There all textile and i feel comfortable that if i went down they would protect me. Much cheaper.

That's what I thought also hahahaa but I guess we all learn the hard way.. What works for you may not work for other and seeing you ride big bikes you should know better that textiles under certain conditions will shred like butter and jeans will do the same. After a few get off's on big bikes I told myself never again with textile

One good highside on a PB will equal the force of a big bike because your closer to the ground so you get slammed like a jack hammer.

definitely leather for streetbikes... textile is fine for a pocketbike.. i went down plenty of times ripping on the pocketbike in jeans and wearing my joe rocket meteor jacket (has full armor), a shoei helmet & joe rocket gloves with no probs.. i wouldnt wear textiles when im ripping on the 954 though, only leather or kevlar...

I went down going about 60 with an Icon textile jacket. I broke my arm but ended up with no road rash. Alot of brusies and aches though. As long as its a good jacket and its fitted right(the most important thing in suits) textile is fine. I first got into them because of the flexibility and price, even since i went down i still like them. If i made like 50k a year i'd think about leather, but untill then its Icon textile all the way.

you can pick up used leathers on ebay for $250... i would rather spend that then $50k on skin grafts...

just get a Joe Rocket meteor jacket (textile) off ebay for the pocketbike.. u can pick em up new for $35, they have shoulder, forearm & back armor... good stuff

also u could get some icon ti-max or Dragging jeans.. double layered on the butt and knee armor..

The cheapest I have seen on EBAY was around $50-$60 bucks to start bid.

My setup is Icon Hero textile jacket, Bohn underarmor pants, and Icon Barrier pants. Like i said, went down doing 60 and no problems with road rash. Plus i much prefer jeans and the look of a hero jacket than full on leathers. And you should splurge for the hero styled jacket(the ones with all the patches). Makes you look like your going 20 mph faster. O, and dont go with a cheap brand, youll hate the way they fit and feel and end up buying the Icon or Joe Rocket.
