what gear?

do you usually need to race in most cases?do you really need a suit? I see videos of people racing with pads and jeans and a sweat shirt.I know that you need a helmet but do you usually need a suit?

You can find a fake leather padded jacket for around 50 bucks on ebay. Motocross pants for 20, protec knee guards for 10. THen helmet and MX gloves. Thats what i wore when i first came into the sport!

Better safe then sorry as full suits will provide more protection then casual attire. I have seen full suits used for $150 in top condition.
