Re: 2004 Honda NSR50R review

Does anyone know where I can get the multi color sticker kit for the NSR50R ; the one wth red/blue splashes, HRC badge, red wing, NSR decal and black number plates ? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I remember reading that the kit has a particular name , but have forgotten what it is. I would post a photo but no link... Much appreciated.

That's it alcorn, thanks for posting the pic. I finally found the manufacturer : Tape Works. They want $199 for the kit ! Too much I think. Besides, they don't ship to Canada, where I am.

What kind of air filter, if any, are you running on your NSR50R ?

Re: 2004 Honda NSR50R review

Most dont but u can run a piece of nylon and zip tie it to the carb. Just got an Nrs and love it. Me and Brian (Fireman) went ridding the other day and had some great fun. I'm working on my new paint job, hope to have it back together tomarrow. Will post some pics as soon as I have back together.

***HINT*** It kind on reminds me of an old Shelby 427 cobra paint job

I use a Uni filter now. I tried the nylon (which I use on my pocket bikes), but it was impeding my airflow at high rpm. It wanted to get sucked to close to the slide, but can be made to work. I had a spare Uni filter, so I put it on the NSR, due to the amount of track debri collecting around the plastic guard behind the carb from the track.

Re: 2004 Honda NSR50R review

My NSR came with a piece of nylon mesh inside the inlet. Is this the nylon you mean ? I thought it was in there for shipping purposes.

Re: 2004 Honda NSR50R review

Stock gearing, stock motor, I think the top speed is somewhere around 60mph, but that will differ from person to person as well as location, as weight and elevation has alot to do with it!
