Cool Aftermarket CDI

Do aftermarket CDI (ie. Daytona) provide worthwhile performance gains? Checking on Yahoo Japan Auctions it seems like they can be had fairly cheap.

Very good gains, especially with a good plug wire (Nology or the like). It gives you a broader range of power.

I've had a few Daytona's but I'm sold on the Posh CDI's. I can't recall a single person that uses them over here. Almost everyone runs Posh Creative CDI's.

Do you know any sites where I can find parts for the TZR/TZM?

Try G-T.co.jp, Ricoland.co.jp, those are the only places I deal with outside of the auction sites (dealer sites), and a local rider's shop named STEC. Yahoo autions has some as well.

If you need it and know what you want, hit me up and we can work it out.

As soon as I get the bike, which should be in about 2weeks, I'll look it over and see what aftermarket parts it has and which one's I want. But how much new or used can you get the Posh Creative CDI's?

Normally between $40 used to $75 new. It depends on the new price list, Posh's new catalog drops on the 31st.

SPI TZR/TZM Clamp v. Team Calamari YSR Clamp

See pictures, looks like they may not be interchangeable.

I think the TZM/R forks may be slightly larger, I'll have to mych them to find out for sure.

SPI makes good products.
