How much did Big Red give you the RR for and who's it for, Brandon?

It would definitely be nice to get the kiddo's together to ride their shifters. How's Brandon doing with the NSR? You guys gotta come down and ride at Adams or Grange Motor Circuit. You guys coming to Button Willow?

$1,000 for fairings?
I got it for 500.00, I'll have Brandon race it in Proddy Light, but I'll have to change a few parts as it's a 50cc right now....It rips !

For 3 practices days on the NSR, Brandon is doing pretty good! I'm going to get him to the track as much as I can. As for Button Willow, we will make it down South, but probably a little later in the year. With the 4 of us racing and some multi classes, I'll have to see how the wallet looks...lol...I'll definitely see you here in Stockton or down South!!

Re: Fairings

They were using an XR100 bored out to 168cc. It has the dry clutch, gp shift, the whole nine yards. The seat really isn't that bad it just looks that way in the pics. A friend of mine got to witness it first hand and he had nothing but rave reviews. He's a little over 6'.

Re: Fairings

I'm assuming the XR100 is a one-off, so what motor does the machine come with out of the box and who sells it?

Re: Fairings

clane531, what motors are the racers over in Japan running, I know they are 4 strokes, but what size? I just watched a video on rsvmini's website and this white bike was FLY'N!!!
I wish I was still in the military sometimes... I'd be over in Japan in a sec!

BTW, did you ever find out anymore info on that bodywork that I got?? I does look a little like RS250r newer bodywork... I'll post a picture of it on my bike in a few days!

Re: Fairings

It doesn't have one out of the box, you have to specify your application. It's basically a roller, that you can have set-up anyway you choose up to 250cc. The company can put a motor in it for you, or you can use your own. Their 2T 250 is awesome.

This is also how the NSF came to fruition. There were four shops that started the engine conversion. Then Acuto took it to the next level with the RC211V kits. Honda being the smart company that they are, are now trying to cash in. The only problem with the NSF is they're not selling all that well in Japan because these shops have been producing the bikes for quite some time.

Re: Fairings

If you like smooth type lines the RS type bodywork is pretty good. I've seen a set quite close in resemblance, except the lower has cleaner lines, at least I think so. I'll have to find them and post some pics.

Re: Fairings

So, what's the story? Are you able to get the farings and how much?

I may go up to Airtech one of these days with the NSR stripped, and see about the RS125's. But, we'll see.

Re: Fairings

Yes I can get the fairings. If you read the post, I'm leaving for Japan this week, on Friday to be exact. I'll have definitive answers upon my return (i get back on the 10th).

On a side note, I have ordered a pair this morning and it takes at least a week to make because they're not stocked items. I haven't mentioned a price because i want to see what the shipping is going to cost. Often times the shipping has proved to be the determining factor. My hope is to find a source in Japan, who's willing to ship to the states and not cut your arms and legs off.

Once I get the set delivered, I'll post pics on the board along with the price to include shipping.

The RS125's are bigger, I'm sure it would have to be modified to fit. and the tailsection would be pretty long.

Lane, Thanks for helping us!! Info on the goodies is Greatly Appreciated

Re: Fairings

A member in our club had RS125 upper on his NSR50 and it will fit, but you won't be able to fit a lower on. Our best bet is to do what clane said, get a contact over in Japan and see if they can ship it direct. Only person I know that is willing to ship bodywork over to the states is Jamie at http://www.dreamgate.ne.jp/nsr/ But, it is still a little high priced

Re: Fairings

That is wierd, I've talked to him a few times about parts that Japan only has... He said that the bodywork would cost around $50 or more to ship. That might not be too bad, since I just paid $28 for my bodywork to ship from Cali to Ohio.

Re: Fairings

No, I orded mine from GPC Moto... should be here in a few days. I'll post pic's of it mounted on the bike. I didn't get a tail section, so I'll need to get one of them if it doesn't look right with the stock tail
