Re: Fairings

Fireman and Woof;

Here's a pic of the windscreen I was talking about. I learned the hard way and paid a decent penny for some screens. The first one of these i ordered was twenty bucks with shipping. The one on top is orange and the others are smoke, and blue.

Here's the deal. If you go to any place that sells plexiglass, the have different types in all colors. The pics I posted are of sheets that are about as thick as ten sheets of paper. They're very pliable, and you can cut to any shape you want. If you look at the pic someone posted of the red bike with RS fairings, you can see he did the same thing with a clear sheet.

The only limitations are your skills at cutting the sheets. It's relatively thin, so you can use shears if need be.

I'll try to e-mail from Japan if work permits.

Re: Fairings

I got my bodywork in the mail today... LOOKS GREAT!
Here are some pic's of it just sitting on my bike...

Bodywork is just sitting on the bike, so it isn't set where it needs to be...Plus my upper is bent and need to get that straight before I mount it!

Looks very nice. Are you going to do the "quazzy moto" paint job? I like how you have the centerfold bikini girls right above the toddler toys, lol.

Re: Fairings

I got them from GPC Moto out in Cali. for around $230 shipped. He said he gets them from Japan. Not sure who makes the stuff, there is no lable on the bodywork??
But, it does fit good, only area is the lower where the exhaust comes out will need to be trimed a bit so it won't melt... but not a bad finish and looks good too. I'm going to play with the mounting and see if I can raise or lower the upper to make it look better.
