Cali: The green 50 is a KSR 2-stroke. This one wasn't that competitive as the rider wasn't that great, however I have seen the KSR80's (2-stroke) and 110's (4-stroke) do some damage. One guy raced a KSR98cc (80cc big bore) bike and practically smashed the entire field.
Shady: At the beginning of the year the Motards had taken over. There's still an average of twenty bikes per class. There's real stiff competiton too. This last race was the first mini-motard race. It's ran with Chinese FYM110cc (4-stroke) bikes. They've proven to be pretty durable.
All thanks for the comments on the pics, I can assure you that racing is really a way of life here. I would love to see a Metrakit bike and competent rider up against some of these NSR's and their riders. A lot of these guys can really fly and nearly all have prior race experience (125cc to 750cc). I have been honored and humbled that I have been accepted into their family, and I hope that I can continue to learn from some great people.
I'm sending pics of the first family of the Okinawa Racing Project (ORP). The number 6 bike is the father (36) and king of the course (he's called Cho'san by all: Champion), Number 8 bike is his son (11), number 11 bike is the nephew (15) and the scooter is the champs youngest brother (26). There's also other family members that race but these are the only ones competing this year.
Eddie: Did you powder coat your frame or rattle can? I've been rattle canning everything since powdercoating costs entirely to much over here. Funny thing, the black bike I posted pics of was about to get the same treatment, but this guy asked to buy it. I can't complain, I'm selling it for $650 w/o the seat and screen. I'm including another screen, but he's on his own when it comes to the seat.
Selling really helps me out, I was about to replace all gaskets and freshen up the top end. Now i'm going to look for a rolling NSR80, and put some money on an NSR250. The 250 is beat but I like to do things myself, for $780 I can't go wrong.

Eddie: I'm in Japan, and pipes are fairly easy to come by fpr YSR's.
Oh you said it would be for sale soon and thought since you live in Japan, the shipping to the States would be $$$.
BTW how much are aftermarket pipes for an NC30. I just bought another one for the track cheap, but it does not have a pipe. It's pretty cool and has an NC35 17" rear wheel and NC35 USD forks. I just need to get the rear shock revavled and get a new spring. It'll cost about $300 for the work and spring done by the shop. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than the Penske I bought for my other NC30 ($695 on sale). I also had Race Tech .85 springs installed on my first NC30 and what a difference on the track.
Eddie: The VFR pipes cost quite a bit unless you get one from an auction. In that case they can run about $400-up. It depends on what you're looking for. Let me know and I'll keep an eye out, also one of my troops has the twin Shotgun style exhaust (excellent condition) he's looking at letting go for around $500 (he doesn't like it because the cans are kevlar and not carbon fiber).
Sounds as though you have a nice track bike. I need to get my suspension sorted soon, the price for suspension parts here is crazy. I have an Ohlins rear shock that doesn't fit (bought new from ebay), so I'm looking for something else once I sell this one. Also I seen your post on greybikes, I haven't been there in awhile and was just looking around last night. It's a great place for info.
As for shipping back state side, I use the post office. The cost isn't too high, especially judging by what people charge on ebay. I had a new YZ85 motor shipped from the states (USPS) for $75 and it weighed 65lbs to include packaging, and I can't get a pocketbike shipped over here without someone trying to cut my throat. Go figure!
I can send pics no problem. They'll have to wait until next Friday as he's in Leadership school and he won't come back to work until then. I'm not sure of the brand I just know it's really nice. I can let you know what I see at the auctions here too.
The first pic is of me and my brother on our metrakits. The second pic is of me on my honda crf150 motard. The third pic is of me on my metrakit. The fourth pic is of me on my metrakit with a ysr behind me. Those r just pics from my local track, i cant find any of when we were at jennings or talladega.

I don't own one, but have ridden one before. Tbh, it's a true collectors item....more so than the YSR = very rare. Imo, it's one of those bikes you just to have/keep around....you know, like having a Honda trail 90 or a Monkey bike that all the kids can take a ride on.
Performance wise, it's a 4-stroke, 4 spd, 10" wheel slug = takes for ever to get to top speed. The bike stands prolly as tall and goes 'bout as fast as these new 4-stroke mid bikes that have just hit the scene. I don't mean no disrespect to this bike, but there is just no comparing it to the YSR or alike.
