Post a picture of your 50!

I thought I'd start one here like the other forums. These were taken a few years back at Prairie City.

Is the 50 they put in the Supermotard the same one they put in the GPR? or is it detuned?

Nice pics.

Clane question, I see some scooters running with the bikes, how do they usually fair in the races? are they any good?

The scooters are there because their numbers have dwindled. Everyone is moving towards Motard racing, and the scooters and some of the mini's have fallen by the way side.

The baddest scooter out is the Street Magic. Once set-up for racing their a bear to deal with. There are quite few other makes that are decent, but they're all over 50cc's bored and stroked. The stock 50cc scooters don't have a chance.

Nice pics.
detuned...? you be the judge.
In stock form, the GPR's carb is 19mm vs 17mm on the SM. Does it affect performance, not according to their spec sheets. They show the same HP numbers, but I doubt it's true. In fact the specsheet for my SM says that I have inverted forks... (huh? ***) well I guess they are inverted if you flip over doing a wheelie. My Superbike Spec YSR makes a lot more power then the stock SM. I could dust it with my YSR. However, the motor has tons of potential with the Metrakit goodies that's available.

Hey ozzie, can we make a deal? My bike needs some loving for the holidays in a form of carb, pipe...possibly a big bore kit.

PS, The rest of the engine looks the same as the GPR.

Pics soon to come, I just have to get back home. I'm going to post pics of all of them, in various states of disrepair (lol).

Eddie, I used to check you and your brothers websites once I started racing. They contained some pretty good info'. Now I have a shed full of bikes and I'm trying to find time to fix them all. Our last race is November 28th, and season starts in Feb. That's a real quick turn around. Anyhow thanks for the information you posted.

Carl

I'm so mad I forgot to bid on a SuperMotard I saw on Ebay, I was going to wait until the last day which was Sun and I just forgot, it was a steal too. Item: 4502609073

A pic of my TZMY-85 in progress (frankenwelding the pipe), and a bored and stroked monkey.

Shady: I have the other pics as well (VFR, and both FZR's), I'll PM them later.

The Yamaha is a YSR80, it has everything except for fresh paint and a tank that needs Kreeming badly. For now it's down but will soon be running again. It may turn into a water cooled bike. I have a TZM50 motor just sitting around that packs more heat than the YSR80 motor, plus it's 12v instead of 6.

Once you get the TZM let me know if you need anything. I'll send you another bike mag, once I get one from main land.

Yes, I plan to race my YSR (Stock). I race stock (primary), Nov YSR or Mod YSR (SS equiv).

Really?! the TZM50 has more power than the YSR 80cc motor?! WOW Then again, I shouldn't be so surprised, air-cooled vs water-cooled

What is the hp of the TZM50?

How available are they and what's the price?

Since I don't have the pocket book to afford a Metrakit, I am weighing out my options for a faster bike to race or practice with on the track

So currently, I'm leaning towards a Derbi motor in my YSR or a w/c 80cc motor.....unless I find a RS125/80 (rare).....when I have the cash
