Well when it comes right down to it I will be going overkill for an NSR or NSF as well.
Several reason why I am keeping the YSR:
1. The parts I am upgrading to are made for full sized bikes. Thy wont work on an NSR or NSF anyways.
2. I want my bike to be street legal. My YSR already has current plates in California (where I live).
3. I already own the YSR.
4. I already know the engine and exhaust will fit in my YSR

(you guys will see pics soon enough)
I want to make this bike as factory looking, stable and vibration free as possible. I know that I could just go get a newer bike to start with but for my plans I would have to tear the roller down and cut everything up the same amount that I will have to do with my YSR
When you are replacing the wheels, suspension, brakes, fairings, engine, exhaust, swing-arm and triple clamps, and modifying everything else, few will care about the make of the frame.
Not Trying to say that the NSR or NSF are not good bikes or that the YSR has more upgrades. I am saying that I will be building something way above the Midbike normal spec.
