Cool Your favorite 50cc bike....

I'm a big Honda NSR 50 fan... but the 04' Derbi GPR 50 is VERY hot.

i saw one on ebay which was race-only (no headlights, gutted, etc) for 2,000 and it was really nice. that price was the buy-it-now price too.

I've always been partial to the Honda NSR and Aprilia RS, but the Derbi is an absolutely gorgeous bike, hands down.

Metrakit or OZ bike 50 (same thing)

They are by far the best racing 50s, much lighter. Only drawback, no street version, they were designed as race bikes from the ground up.

Dam the USDM sucks, the EDM and JDM have so many choices when it comes to vehicles... Found some pics on bikepics.com (I think thats the site)... All from Europe, this guys has a 04' Derbi and a NSR, oh the envy; also found a pic of the GPR 125 (I know it's not a 50, just had to throw it in)

Yeah, our market does suck. When I was in England one time I picked up a used bike trader and was astonished how cheap the small displacement cafe stuff (50-250cc) was when it gets to be a couple of years old. You could pick up 5 year old 125s for half the price of a 15 year old NSR 50 here in the states.
