well sir, at least you have a sense of humor about the bike. that's a great starting point in selling. always keep your sense of humor..............good luck. didn't mean to insult. I also have a chinese pb......a red GRC replica cag.............

be careful with the ebay descriptions...

yeah, and I'm sure on ebay it says the bike has a top speed of 120mph right!

buyer beware.

?

it's a crying shame they don't quantify those so called "top speeds" by telling buyers that in order to achieve that speed, the rider must be 10 years old, weigh no more than 40 pounds, and be going downhill with a tail wind pushing them...........

that's what happens, buyer typicall only hear "hoo Ahhh, top speed fo 60mph...Ooooo, Ahhh....-man that's fast"...........

yet not really knowing all the "ideal" conditions that it takes for those kinds of speeds to be achieved.

What a bunch of maroons......(Bugs Bunny)

??

Not being an a-hole bro. just trying to make sure some young pb rider doesn't get the wrong information on what this "bike" can do is all.

and you said,........."we were just saying what the sellers say no one said "THE BIKE GOES 60mph"............

yet the comment above mine says precisely that.......that the bike will do 60mph.....so, what's what here?

I was being sarcastic saying that it went 120mph but one member did claim it goes 60mph............

ahh.......gotcha. alright then.

So, has anyone actually put this abomination up against a car's speedo or a radar gun so we can see how fast it really goes?

I'd have a hard time feeling safe, ripping down the road doing 60mph on a bike made in China. May just be me......

it's not just you.......

I'd feel unsafe as well.

Seeing how all the pocketbikes that came out of there were manufacturered in mass quantities with little or no attention to details............you are correct.

I'd be afraid, very afriad to be riding on a chinese, street legal or otherwise, motorcycle.

So, it's not just you.......

Granted it can go 60 mph, I'd change many things like bolts and prep it before attempting any speed runs. Obiviously this was another misprint KM vs MPH (silly metric system).

gotta agree with ya about doing mad speeds on chincy china-ware. i wouldn't wanna break 50. i figure at that speed, i can still bail halfway decent without paralyzing myself.

and also, the other guys are right. you can't call this thing a ysr to save your soul. i had a ysr. a really nice one. unfortunately it was too long ago for me to have realized what i had at the time, and i'm still kicking myself for selling it. (for like 600 bucks in excellent condition! ugh) the ysr is a legend, and in my book will always be. good luck finding a decent one to buy since all the collectors are buying them up left and right. call it something else. how about the xyz 90?!

hey Fmk78...

Hey fmk78,

I see you are in Ft. Lauderdale FL. I'm in the south Miami area by the way.
A freind of mine whom I use as my YSR guru has YSR's for sale all the time. He's a decent fellow. His name is Ray..........aka "The doctor of the the YSR's"......at least that's what I call him.

Anyhow, he's always tunning and modding my two bikes. If you want to get in contact with him, let me know and I'll pipe you his information.

He's even done a Yerbi bike for me recently.

good luck on finding another YSr.

Rob
