| YSR80 sprocket sizing?
well guru's. here's one for you.
what sprocket ratio's should I use on my YSR80 engine?
I have the nology wire, tune proflo pipe and K+N filter with my YSR80 motor.
what sprocket front should I use and what sprocket rear should i use?
I've been told by TCR that a 39T/40T/41T at the rear works with a 14T in the front.
others chime in please. I hear that the lower you get on the ratio, for example a 40/14 = 2.85 whereas a 39/14=2.78, lower means faster top end but lower accelaration on the bottom end.
what are good baseline 78mph top end and good low end accelaration ratios you guys use?
