Maybe this thread would not be hijacked if it didn't take two days to post results JOHANSON, I am just screwing with you so get them up. Frank, good riding out there, of course that bike would be unbeatable if you had the clutch engaging properly and about a 75 tooth on the back, I kind of liked it when you are slower though since I got to follow you around a bit and learn a thing or two, I hope you come out next time and don't mind racing in a similar format. It was good to see Scott and Mike out there as well, I hope that Eric comes out next time if he is fully healed. Personally I am glad we have a break before the next race as I am in a lot of pain, bruised ribs, busted up shoulder, and of course I shaved down that big old nose of mine in that crash, I was not moving too swiftly after that and today was even worse since I stiffenned up a bit and things just aren't moving at all.

I think you need to swap ricky and shawn in the midbike class. He took a 2nd and a 3rd i took a 3rd and a 2nd so it should be me and then shawn then prolly ricky.
Yea Frank my right side is a little sore but i thought it was from lowsliding. It could of easily been from you running over me after I fell on my face. I had alot fun running with you guys and will have even more next time. What do you think of my Mod Cag? I know its only a cag but what do you think? Pretty sweet for a China junk. Open ur mind and be honest not partial.
Peace,Troy

I was surprised by the performance you were able to get out of your cag. It ran very well. The first time I saw you on it pulling power wheelies on the short straight was impressive because you werenet pulling back to get it to do it. I will see you again some time this winter. I wont be around for the next race because I am going to florida for the weekend for the last sepra race so I can get my *** handed to me and try to learn a little in the process. We are going to try to get some fishing done as well. frank
I don't want to mess up the thread by posting but, I want to know how I finished before ricky in both races for the midbikes and he places 4th and I place 7th? What's up with that?
Ya i didnt think so either loo. Who was doin the scoring because i think it may be a little messed up or either that ricky got ahold of it and changed **** around. Better double check it somehow. Just lookin out for the better of the club!
Yes the Mid bike scoring sheet was not in the best of shape and they were trying there best to catch all the numbers but it did get messed up. I appreciate you guys helping me. It will only get better it was there first time but man was it better than last time. Bart has a hella memory but there were way to many bikes to try it that way! Boy is Boo going to be ****ed!!!!!!!! I love it and you guys better back me cause he is gonna cry like a little biotch.
And feel free to reply it seems I am going to need it. I will repost the results with the Series standings also. I have it all worked out but want to be sure on yesterdays race results.
Thanks,Troy

You should've trusted my memory and my system. Hey guys, don't be so hard on him, the girls there were first timers at this and let's face it, nobody else helped and they just volunteered to do it, they don't even race. I am getting a bit tired of having 5 of the 50 guys that showed up trying to do everything, flagging, scoring, organizing the event, yelling at kids in the spectator area, this is a club and we need some participation, I should not have to yell at people to go out there and help flag a heat that they are not in, you should be doing it on your own. Seadoloo, thank you for you and your son's help, Brandon thank you for your help, Tim helped out also but I did not see much other participation, sorry if I missed anyone but that is still too few a guys doing some of the organizing and too many guys doing nothing. It is not too hard to at least walk up and say "hey, do you guys need a hand with anything?". Troy worked very hard on this as did I and Ricky, it is a good time for us but we are not doing this for any profit so it would be nice if it was appreciated instead of me hearing complaints in the lounge about us being bossy or kicking people out of the pits that don't need to be there. Just do what you are supposed to and help out, you are not in every heat so unless your bike needs dire attention do something.
From my point of view, being there for the first time.
The guys in charge did seem bossy and were out in the lounge yelling loudly at sometimes. With parents and kids there, especially mothers spectating this is not a good thing to have going on. Just because you are doing more work then others doesnt give anyone the right to go around yelling and being bossy. People will always complain and or suggest improvements, dont take it personal.
I wasnt there for the drivers meeting so maybe you mentioned this.
You should ask for participation from the racers, etc. Maybe they seem hesitant because of the rules already in place at k2k. Like, racers only in this area, spectators only bla bla bla.
As with any club, youll notice that a couple guys will be carrying the biggest load and most members are there to race and do their own thing.
I think what you guys are doing is great, and cant wait for some outdoor races.

Keep up the good work.
Most of the people there are newbies to racing in general and tht mekes it hard to understand what is going on. I have raced off and on all my life and the people in charge are always yelling just so they are heard as a convience to the riders. I do not have acces to a mic to annouce practices and race order and next race up is, and soo forth. So the yelling was just trying to be helpful not so much bossy. Bossy to me little Brother YES I AM he needs direction as we all do but he is new to this racing and is a big help but still needs to think like a promoter and not only a racer. I am doing this after only attending a few races myself. I did not want to stop riding for the winter so I formed MPBClub. All suggestions are appreciated and for only the second event ever organized I think we do pretty good. We are racers not Promoters. Someone had to step up and I took the challange. I will succeed out of pure desire to ride. People are helping more than the first race and they will be a big part of the success of this Series. I hope everyone has a blast and appreciates the fact that I am taking on a big resonsibility by doing this.
The score girls were green and the first couple of races were sketchy so I am making any correction that are needed. It will not be an issue next race for I am making up scoring forms that will eliminate the chance for mistakes.
As far as this goes "You should ask for participation from the racers, etc. Maybe they seem hesitant because of the rules already in place at k2k. Like, racers only in this area, spectators only bla bla bla. " I asked for Drivers help with flagging at the frivers meeting and will emphasize on this strongly for safety reasons next race. The Rules laid out to us by the owner are not too much to ask. Heck someone accidently spilled gasoline out of the carb or something like that(not intentional) but choose to use some seat padding for the karts to soak it up to keep is low key. WOW thats shaddy. I will always have some issues but for the most part we are doing it! Safety is the biggest issue with people being in the pits without signing waivers and so forth. Racers get bands when the pay and have to sign a waiver so they are allowed, so to say, in the pits without worries.
It will only get better. With the attendance steadly increasing it will also get more challanging.
Thanks for the input and feel free to Express you thought at any time. Knowledge is power and Some advice(opinions) carries alot of knowledge.
Hope you can make it back this winter we will be running it backwards(reverse direction) on 12-14-04. It would be hard to ride these things backwards. LOL
By the way it is hard to run the show and TRY to be the fastest one on the track. This was only my 5th time racing a pocket bike and I am having a blast. I get my roots from MX and this is a cool off season sport.
Thanks,Troy

I had no problems with you yelling out on the track announcing heats and so forth. I was referring to the yelling that took place in the snack/viewing area in front of parents and what not.
Thanks. Hey what do you think of my unorthadoxied riding style? It is crazy to actually slid on your leg and upright the bike without wrecking of slowing down too much. I wrecked more that a few times yesterday but was really pushing the bike. I smoked the tires in the first turn so bad that I was sliding around the corner and almost made it but low slid rite into the barrier only to bounce off it line a pinball. It was way too cool. I almost took out Bart, he had to jump out of the way. All I can say is that it did not seem like there was 50 riders there and I had a Blast. I can't wait until next race. I have a GRC RSR and a Polini Scooterino that I did not bring out, but really wanted just for practice. I think I nees to stick with the slower(ha ha yea wheelies) Cags for now. My green Lucky 7 bike was too hard to keep the front end down out of corners, but it was fun. I actually rode my slower bike faster cause I could keep it pinned alot more.
Have you ever seen a X1 with the hydraulic forks from the R6,380x bike? I put the forks on with another rear wheel and the handling is insane. The engine only has an air filter and pipe on it. I messaged the internals myself and used all stock componets. The spark plug is even stock(since April). I got lucky with this engine. I hit 47mph with stock gearing on a Radar gun. I gearen up for the track this time and it seemed to work.
Thanks for coming out.
