oh ya did you see a parts dopo in that site, if not then it is just a toy site, the guys that import a lot of bikes as cheap as they can get them and flood the market with nothin but the cheaper china bikes, i dont wana sound like i am knocking them , but that is the kinda sit they look like, couse all i saw there was the lowere china bikes and just some good ones
the razor is so easy a 5 year old could do it with help of a parent,lol if you have the parts all ready to go and the tools, this project should only take about an hour if you understand what your doing.......simple as eating pie! lol
I like pie...so far the neighbor is balking at the idea - he knows me too well...he knows I just cant help myself with this kind of stuff - he knows if I want it something is gonna be modded......normally it is on the mechanical side, it has been a while since I messed with any serious electrical...lookin forward to it....

here is why:
with gasers, you have to put almost $2k in them befor thy have any performance, that is white nuckle snapy....Electrics on the other hand, total cost of a good set up is under 700$...
oh ya now look at the power...and out put....
gasser has a TORQUE CURVE of about 10-15 hp, output a good 45-maby 55 mph, after a long take off time(over 200 feet)
Electric on the other hand has LINEAR power of 1.75 hp, and can get up to 35-40mph, yes i know the gasser is faster, but that is not the point, look at the hp versus speed.....and did i forget the electric will get up to speed in less then 150-200 ft
on a track witha lota turns my bike stock remeber 18mph, would keep up with the Gassers all day, but as of next week it ill be able to muder a gasser hands down.....
oh ya how much did you pay for your bike stock over 450$, what did it get outa the box 25mph.....
my bike costs 150$ and for 80$ more it goes 26.4 mph and with 100$ more will go 28.1 mph(that is 28.1 mph for a lttle over half of your bikes cost)
i have spent about 330 on mine(including the bike) and my top speed was 31.3 on gravel, and in the porche vs electric car that was from a roll, i would like to see that from a stop

and how long does it take to hit top speed.. on pavement.. not trying to start some silly debate... but i took an 18mph electric pb to 30.3 and that only cost me 58 dollars... the only reason i didn't go higher is because that was the first time i experimented with the motor and wasn't sure if it would fry up so i stopped once i show 30 ... and that 18 to 30.3 only took 3 seconds... oh you may be right on the porche and electric car leaving at a stand still but you got to admit 0 to 60 in 3 second is very impressive for an electric car....and why would you want to ride a pb on gravel????????

yes electric is way better for the money, if you read my post it stated that and prooved that in all the ways
run time, power,torque and maintence, the ease of tuning
the reason i ride on gravel is bacause i live out in the country, i dont have to worry about cops and all that other BS
i was just saying that for me it wasnt that much more to make a gasser fast- nowhere did i say gassers where better for the money and i didnt diagree about electrics

lol, you live out on gravel roads, and your telling us that live in the city, what would be better for da club,lol i am laghing so loud the nabors can hear me now....yes you may turn a head in a gt550 or a caera gt, but you pull up in that fast as hell electric the people will be baffled and drop their jaws, couse an electric car has a sound that if you ever hear it you too would be won over.....an electrc car is for some one that likse to hear machanics not motor, that car sound insane and very smooth on take off, when you can make over 300hp and be almost silent that in its self is fine art!
any one can buy a gasser and buy some hop up parts that bolt in, electrics are self expresion of all you know and learned over the years couse electrics are most of the time hand biult and custom fabbed, no one will ever have an exact copy of my bike, ever.... your gasser looks great but under the fairing it is all the same as the other guy, dont get me rong, you gasser sure know how to tune and race, but electrics are on making themselfs known, some day we will race in the same class, and that day will bw the last day electrics will be looked at as toys!

i've ridden electric bikes and I've driven electric cars. I respect you electric guys for all the knowledge it takes to tweak this stuff and make them fast and give you guys mad props for dealin with the constant bashing and everything. But, I'm a gearhead and I still think that nothing can beat the sound of an old fashioned deep throaty exhaust note on a muscle car that goes "klug-klug-klug" and the pinging of a highly tuned 2 stroke motor. I will admit that electric pocketbikes are cheaper to make fast and just as much fun as gassers though.
I dont think there is anything wrong with electric i think i just like gas better because of the head turning sound it makes
i think electrics turn heads couse the sound they make too...not toomany people have ever heard a true electric racing platform realy tweeken out as much rpms as the motor can pull... that is a sound that you will rarly hear if not ever in person(i am talking big electric motors of course)
the draw back to gas is they over heat easy and they have to make a lot of noise to make so litle power, dont get me rong, i love gas too but in a race i would like to have my Razor(ratbike) any day
