No problem, you let me know more about the race though, like if its your 50 cc bike and all the stipulations of the race. lay it out and let me know, im down for this.

hey john unless you using an etek i won't do a 1/4 mile run...... 1/8 would be better for you..... the gas will have you in the 1/4 cause the longer the race to more rpms he will pick up...... i'm purely electric but unless you are really good @ modding a motor you don't really have much of a chance... this is coming from a person who knows what your motor is capable of... save your money and drop the race til you get a serious motor.....

i also have a bored out banshee cylinde bored out to 60cc but it`s not on my bike if you want to do the 1/8 i`ll use the 60cc,and if we settle for the 1/4 i`ll just keep the 50cc on

Well im not givin out any specs about the bike at this point then if i'm goin to do a race like this, but lets just say the motor i'm goin to use will be more powerful than an etek. A PMDC motor just doesn't have the power i'm looking for and i'll be using a modified 6.7" series motor from a lift truck. Most of the components will be modded with larger brushes, advanced timing, stiffer springs, larger interconnects, etc. The controller will be quite powerful, and i already mentioned it here before on another thread, so im not goin to post any more info, til this guy backs out.

ok john now i have a good idea what you are working with... tune it right and you'll walk away with the win, but stick with the 1/8 mile... if i can help you in anyway let me know... btw ALTITtUDE you bet john that your bike would beat his and if i read right it was with your 50cc... which means you can't chance to a 60cc cause it's a 1/8 mile race.... in my neck of the woods you don't make a bet and then say i'll use my other bike instead... big no no.... i think everyone would agree with me on this one.... but good luck to both of you guys on the race.... and we want a vid of it too

altitude do you really think you stand a chance if both bikes have the same power as in hp rating, i dont think so an electric bike will flogg the crap out of your ICE powered POS!

it has been prooven countless of time's that you need 3 times as much power in a gas bike to even keep up with an electric for example 3hp gas is only as quick as a 1hp electric bike so i belive that it would take only 5 hp to keep up with your gas powered beast but give me a 15hp electric and you would need a 45 hp gas monster just to keep up take that you incompitent gas lover and i know lots of people love the sound and smell of gas bikes i know that you do too but its not like you sniff petrol and are addicted to it like smokers are to cigaretts are you?
