Well at long last, the bike is done!!! (Actually stayed up last night and got the bike finished and on the road around 4:00 AM...)
Right now it is geared for 54 MPH and is running just under that. I haven't done any range testing, mostly short runs and charge - trying get all the batteries at the same level. As of this afternoon, the 4 batteries after sitting after a run, were 12.03, 12.03, 12.03 and 12.00, so we're set. They are on a full charge right now topping off.
I will be weighing the bike tomorrow and will let everyone know how much it weighs. The bike is super fast and VERY torque-y. I had it geared for a lower speed, but it simply had too much torque with the SRE controller we have. I am also setting the controller back this eve to limit it some more.
We also have the dc-dc setup so all the lights, horns, signal, etc work.
So far, the only thing that is going to need attention soon is the brakes. I'm gonna have to replace them with some aftermarket brakes.
I'll keep everyone posted on the performance.
See ya!

So how's the conversion coming along and where do you plan on racing it? |
