Lost Keys for Minomoto Electric

HELP! My son lost both keys to his Honda Minimoto Electric Motorcycle. Tried on-line to see if we can get replacement keys but I am unable to find anything. Hoping someone might have an idea on how to get replacement keys or to let us know if there are any other options. Thank you in advance.

you can bypass the key switch by connecting the 2 wires or going to pep boys autozone, or o rileys. And buy a new key cylinder with the wires coming out of the back and wire the new one up, i kno pocketbikeparts.com and scooterparts4less.com sells the new cylinders

What he said, our key switch and key are in a box somewhere. We just use a piece of wire to turn it on.

Thanks for the quick reply. Being a novice tech person, when you say connect the 2 wires, do you mean connect them together or to somehting else? Sorry for the questions, just not very savvy with stuff like this and I am still finding my way around the bike!

Yes, cut the ignition switch off and wire up a rocker switch. Or just unplug the ignition switch from the plastic connector and jam a short length of wire into the plastic connector when you ride.

Sorry took so long to reply, wanted to say thank you for all of the help. I was able to strip the wires and keep the plastic connectors...works great and my son LOVES it! Now just need to figure out how to keep the charge longer, if possible and how to make it a little faster!
