i also have a problem with my mx500, i had it for a year and it eventually stopped working, i mean it only went for 20 feet then it was dead out of battery. i then replaced the batteries and charged it up, well same problem so i then replaced the ESC and it didnt help either. i used my circuit tester and everythings proper except that only 21 volts is coming from the batteries the charger says they are full, I NEEd HELP.
First, look AFTER charging and without power on batteries voltage. You must have more than number batteries * 12V.
If not your charger doesn't work correctly (thats means your charging time must be very short too)
Second (if first case OK) it's probably your motor thats is out: it can turn but comes very hot in a very short time because cupper short circuits.

i need help with my mx500, i had it for about a year and i drive it on a woods trail. after a year the bike was extremely slugish even on the road and it took about 10 minutes to fully charge from the batteries being worn out. so i replaced the batteries, it helped a tiny bit so i replaced the ESC, it still did nothing. i have been riding it on the road and it is slowly getting better but still very short run times. like 5-10 minutes. i was wondering what the problem might be.
I'm Nathan and I'm 11 I am about to buy a mx500 and upgrade it to a mx750 I was wondering where the nearest tnc scooters is in barrington 60010 and just incase I decide to get the mx1200 how much is welding and where can you do it?
I know it's been a while but yes, I have continued to modify my 2-MX 60 Volt 1,000 Watt Razr Dirt Bikes!
I am still waiting for my motors to arrive but I still have been working on them once in a while.
I welded 6" front fork extensions on the front ends of my Dirt Bikes down where the brake calipers are located. I did that because I added even longer and larger 12" rear shocks that raised the back end up to high. My bikes stand up as high as full size motocross bikes now! Now I will be able to jump a lot bigger jumps without bottoming out!
I also added an additional 5 more amp hours to my previous 12 amp hours bringing me to 17 amp hours of ridding time!
I have also murdered out my dirt bike rims to Gloss Black for a more aggressive look with Dupont Paint!
I will post my updated photo's when I get my motors in, hopefully within the next month!!!
I am going to mod my MX650 too. I found all the stuff but what will give me the most power for dirt and grass? I want speed but more power so i could go as fast as i could on grass than i could on the street. Is that possible? Is it the 48 volts that do it or is it the motor, i wanted to get the 1000 watt motor but i talked to Chris from tnc scooters and said that i would have to weld and cut but i cant do that.
