i wanted a gas but with the laws in california its just to big of a pain. i found this one the exact cag i wanted but electric. it says it has the biggest elect motor of the crew. lol 700 watt. 36v what do you think. will this one rip the tires off the razors and honda elect. i'm curious. and have any of you ever modified an electric with fatter gauge wire and stuff. i'm very familier for modifing electric rc cars and motors so i figure same physics apply. thanks guys.
700W is about the biggest STOCK motor in the electrics. This would be a great platform to work with. You could change the sprocket and put a larger controller in it with that motor and prolly get 35MPH or so...good deal for the money -- and it CLEAN!!

Had to do some stuff to it to make it right: Cut the bars about a inch and cut the key off short so it wont hit your hand, Moved chain guard to inside of swingarm, cut off kickstand so it would not drag. Mount fairing with rubber washers, did not use foot pegs, just put rubber peg on . Put rubber pads under/around batteries to keep the noise/ rattle down. Tighten all nuts and bolts, adjust brakes. The bike is faster then the razor on a long course and runs forever on a charge!!(razor 45 min.) The razor is right from the start, but the 700 with a littel work is faster, bigger, better. BT
Hey Brian, I'm new to this forum, do you have pics of your bike and mods you made? What speed can you get ou the bike?

I just got my 700, I've been running off factor charge and I can't get it to fully charge on it's own. I'm gonna try to charge for over 8 hours to see if that does the trick. Let me know if you have any tips.

My can opener has more grunt than 700w, what it needs is a transplant:
Do you have a digital volt meter that you can hook up to the charger to see what it is actually putting out? What is the battery voltage with the charger disconnected?

thanks for the tip, I finally got on with TECH support and he gave me the same advice. So far I not happy with the product, haven't been able to enjoy the XP, since run time was short. I'm sending it back.
