How to replace your nylon pullstart for a plastic coated cable

Attached is a PDF file for installation of a plastic coated cable on a pullstart for either water cooled or air cooled minimoto engines.

With this mod you will NEVER have to replace your pullstart for as long as you have your minimoto.

Time required:
30 mins

Items required:
plastic coated cable
pliers
small vise grips
wire stripper/cutter
allen keys
ratchet set w/ screwdriver bits
napkins (to clean off the grease)
grease (to reapply onto the casing)

Let me know how this install worked for you?

Don't use the plastic coated cable, use a straight stainless steel cable. If you ride for more than 10 mins straight the plastic on the cable could get soft allowing the knot on the handle to slip through the hole.
