Re: any mods i can do

well if the 80 is a 5+ speed not much but the head breather does work well i just learned that, maybe try an exhaust mod if the x6 has a restricting exhaust, do restrictor tab mod and drop the c-clip to the 4th notch in throttle needle, make sure tires are 35+ psi but not over 40psi, use premium gas, make sure chain is tight as 1/2 inch of play, make sure oil is new right type and right amount, tuck in when going for speed

you can look all this up in the forum

Re: any mods i can do

Most mods are gonna cost you but the cheapest ones are............

Floatbowl restrictor tab removal mod , mainjet tube mod by opening upcrossflow holes larger with a small brass safety pin and open up the mainjet manually with a small brass safety pin too....

Changing the fuellines for 1/4",fuelfilter also, plus mod the tank output with a 1/4" brass barbed with threaded end fuel barb drilled and tapped into the tank.....

Doing the homemade head breather kit mod......On an X-22 you can use the black cylindrical filter looking thing thats part of the exhaust vacuum balance system they use to add air to the exhaust system to suck out heat and head pressure,,,,cool air acts as a brickwall when the exhaust gasses are cooled before leaving the exhaust system;-slowing flow...The hotter the exhaust is the faster it flows out

Swap out the stock sparkplug wire for a better quality from a carset like MSD 8mm or any high temp/high voltage spiral core ignition wire to replace it with....NGK sparkcap replacing the cheapo high resistance chrome one plus C7HSA NGK sparkplug making sure its gapped between .023 and .027" sae

Doing a stage 1 or 2 exhaust mod plus grinding out the sloppy weld from the headpipe on the X-22

Those are the cheapest and the easiest mods. All mods listed above will get your bike starting/idling and running faster plus way better if done and tuned correctly.....I have thousands of posts and lots involve the methods used in doing the mods on other members threads.....Good Luck..........Peace
