Arrow which is the best 49cc 4t???

hey guyz, am gettin a moped license and i can get a 49cc pocket bike regestered (yes its legal in texas i went down to the dps) i already hav a 2t x7 but want to get a 4t as my moped. i also dont care about speed as long as it goes to 30mph stock, i need to know more about low end and how comfterable it is. here are some pix i found of 4t pocket bikes(when talkin bout one please describe it cuz i dont know the names) also the only problem w/ the yellow one is it is 70cc but i think they might be lying and its 49cc can you tell?? another thing can i get lights fot the 4t x7 cuz that required for the bike???? P.S. i can get them all 4 aboout $400 (one of the pix might be a 2t but i found all of the bikes localy 4t 49cc (except the yellow, one place said they should have it in soon and they dont know how many cc it is)

The yellow one is the with 4 speed, come wit either 50cc or 110cc. IMO thats prolly the fastest one, but i doubt 110 is for $400(if it is then you need to let me knwo where you got it from) The black one is the SuperSport. I'm not the biggest fan of that model. Red is the X7 4T, but most of that model comes with no headlight/tailight/gauges, but the newest ones come with hydrolic brakes and lights. Blue is the x6, its a bit bigger then SS and x7. The x7 prolly is faster after some mods IMO but the X6 might look a bit better and bigger making it more comfy. If you can find the yellow one for $400, I'll prolly go for that if its the 4speed/110cc.

EDIT: whats up with so many people being jerks today...... roxmysox and user_name so far i wonder whos next........ lol

Thumbs down YOU cant

I'm sorry to say that you cant register these bikes any where, first of all there is no vin number on these bikes second in order to be classed as a moped you need to have a step through chassie or frame,*** tires, lights ect.So give up the dream of riding one on the street dude.No VIN NO register!

Maybe they can't be registered in your state because of the lack of a VIN, but I know for a fact that they can be registered in Ohio. I'm sure that each state's definition of a moped is different as well.

No in any state, anything that has FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY on it or stated in the owners man.The definition of moped is world wide ,I checked and so can u dude.Bring a picture to the dmv and show them what you trying to register and watch them laugh you out the door.
My Father and Mother both work for MVA and DMV,if you can then show me proof of it fine but till then keep on trucking.

yup i doubt u can register it, even if u do, i suggest not to ride on the street but in the neighborhood street only. with weak acceleration compare to a car and top speed of 30 mph, cars will be passing u and getting ****ed off.

Register as a moped

I have 2 X6's 70cc and 110cc. In Michigan the DMV is not suppose to recogonize them as mopeds, but they do. All I did to the 70cc X6 was put a tail / brake light on it, made a vin number plate and per there rules, skewed a little, I have a sticker on the bike. With that said, the tires, lights and blinkers are not *** approved and the lights are too low, per our laws. Plus if you ride on a busy street you are going to get killed. They don't see me on my Harley or in my truck, I am sure they will not see me on the pocket bike. I got mine stickered because at the race track (car racing), I may ride on a road or 2 but I in no way would advise using this as transportation. I would advise (for what that is worth) looking into a street legal moped. This is not an add or endorcement but check out the a Kymco Super 9, Aprilia or this one is new CPI GTR 50 and really nice http://www.cpi-usa.com/products/prod...?model=scooter I do not know who is selling these yet. My Kymco Super 9 will go 50mph all day with my fat butt on it (300 pounds - I am on a diet!!!). It will be more comfortable and safer for you. Just my 2 cents...

Drifty,
I lived in Maryland for 18 years. The inspections are a pain in the backside and you will never see the hotrods we have here running on a streets in Baltimore. The police in the Baltimore area are tuff on Hotrods and bikes even if you were not driving fast. I can imagine how they feel about the pocket bikes. Heck, I would get hit for slicks, noise, blowers out of the hood too high, bumper hight too low, lexan windows... They can ticket you here too but they kind of look the other way because most of the cops are into motor sports too, unless you are doingsomethign realy stupid. We have a thing called the Woodward Dream Cruise that started as word of mouth cruise 10 years ago and last year is was over 2 million cars big. It would never fly in Maryland. I love Ocean City and the seafood, but do not miss the police problems I had there with my cars and bikes. But since I was born there, I still call it home.

you can get them registered without *** compliant equipment but that does not make them legal. You can go down and get a registration for a race car with no lights and slicks on it because it is a car and you have a vin but that does not mean that it is legal to drive on the road.
