I got this, speedo reads to 60MPH!! Raced 2 friends with 49cc mini bikes and left them like they were standing still in industrial estate with long straights and fast corners

http://www.ozbikes.com.au/browse.php...5&categoryID=1

I got it to around 45MPH down my court the first day u rode it while running in and then the speedo stopped working. In industrail park with the idle turned up for more top end i was actually scared by the end of the longest straight and was up near 55MPH

Turning the idle up on any engine WILL NOT, COULD NOT, AND SHOULD NOT give it more top end! Just wanted to let you that so you would be properly informed! If turning up the idle makes it run better it is only because the idle mixture is too rich. Again this would not give it more top speed, if anything make it rich throghout the rpm range.Maybe check you throttle for slack in the cable but again turning up the idle would only give it more slack resulting in less top speed(WOT). Something has got to be wrong but it seems nothing major so tear it up and have fun. 4 strokes are alot different than the typical tunning of a 2 stroke.

It may not give better top end but the bike sure got to the top of 4th alot quick.

With idle up high enough so that in 1st with no throttle the bike would move forward and was hard to keep from moving with your feet, i could pop small wheelies, going from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd!!

Thanks INASNT I was actually talking to BAT.........I notice your bike has a rear drum brake and it is hand operated?....then no clutch in that bike?....it looks like the same wheel brake setup they used on the mini choppers.....what size is that?

Its a semi auto 4 speed gearbox, and the rims are 10 inch with hand operated drum rears. The fronts are hydraulic crossed drilled discs
