The Carbon look?

I found this carbon fiber wrap a.k.a sticker sheet.I thought it look like real carbon fiber plus i think it's chemical resistant to fuels and such.Well didn't do the greatest job with it.(Heat gun was to hot)But you guys will get the idea. You'll probably do a better job than me.http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...s/100_0852.jpg

I think if it was done properly it would look great!

Re: The Carbon look?

wow, thats not bad at all. i do commercial arts (car, truck vinyl) and it takes skill (and some tricks of the trade) to be able to lay a good sheet of vinyl. its also very difficult to cover those curves. keep up the work, you'll get better.

Red face Re: The Carbon look?

Hey guys thanks for the comments.I'm sorry i forgot to mention where.I got the sheet from auto zone.I think pep boys or advance auto might even carry them. They should be located in there decal section.I didn't even think of checking ebay i'm gonna try ebay also. But if you guys give it ago i think a hair dryer might work better.I used a heat gun and at times i almost melted the sheet.
