Heel/toe shifter for X12

Does anyone have the new (2nd gen.) X12. I'm hearing that they come with better linkage and a heel toe shifter. If anyone has the new bike could you please post a pic of the linkage/shifter. I have the original shifter which downshifts fine but I would really like to mod. it to a heel toe type shifter. Oh hell I might even buy a 2nd gen. x12 because I like the bike so much. Anyway some pics would be greatly appericated..

I just bought an X12, but it doesn't have the heel/toe shifter. Is that the only way to tell it's a 2 generation X12, or are there other changes?

Thanks.

If you look around on ebay you'll see em. There's still both kinds on there so you'll have to search. One seller who has them is pocketracers. The kickstarter is also a different shape. If you scroll down through the add-there's pics. I've been looking for a heel/toe shifter also. I've checked with a couple of dealers and they're saying in about a month they should have the parts available-I guess that's after enough of the 2nd gens ship and they start breaking down a few for parts. I've been considering getting another one also but my wife would kill me and she's looking over my shoulder right now. Hey-where are you in STL-I'm up in St. Charles.

X12 heel toe shifter

I got my X12 off ebay from CCL and it has the heel toe shifter.I don't know how to post pics but if you look on ebay item #4549027821 this seller has it pictured.CCL shows the old style.I'm 6foot3 and I love the heel toe shifter.I really don't think I would be able to shift any other way.Shifts up and down no problems.BTW just to let people know if you can't pick up your bike from CCL'S warehouse like I did then I don't recommend you buy from him.A friend of mine is going through hell trying to get replacement parts for shipping damage.

CCL marketplace from what I know is run by a guy name Jim Chu who has his bikes sent out from a warehouse www.scooterworlds.com which is called new star technology. You may be better off going straight through them.If not I would look into the ebay seller pocketracers item#4549027821.I got a 70cc X7 from them and I also picked it up but they have there own warehouse on site and had parts just in case.Hope this helps

You should'nt have any problems with pocketracers. They don't have any thing to do with Jim.The bike has the heel/toe shifter item #4549027821 just scroll down and check out all the pics plus $550 shipped is a great deal

That's the only one I trust because I'm local to them and have had good experiences with them.My X12 was perfect but like I said I picked mine up.You should not have too many problems with shipping damage cuz they come in a steel crate. You may have a knick here or there but you should be fine.It really hard to get these bike shipped without any knicks because they are so heavy.

That is the heel/toe shifter. The rear brake is on the handle bars. It's a 4 speed semiautomatic.

There is no clutch, you just back off the throttle and shift. It shifts up and down.I would say it is really close to 50mph out the box. It's preatty fast stock and there is plenty of hop ups you can do

PBU has lots of hop ups but they are a little over priced in my opinion.I have a few pbu parts my self.I have there X7 4 stroke pipe/16t counter sprocket and 33trear sprocket on my X7 110cc fully automatic and it works great. For my X12 I thinking about getting a pipe from
Sid @ Genesis Autoworks, Inc
916.685.0062 shop
There web is not up yet but I emailed him and has some nice stuff also for preatty good prices. The options are endless

I dont know about ebay. If you guys found a good place to buy on there then go for it. For me though I will never buy on ebay again because of previous problems. I think I will wait until there are parts to make the heel/toe shifter but I really wouldnt mind having another x12 .
Duffy, I live in south stl city, but I always ride in south county. There's another member on here from stl too. We should all meet up and ride sometime. I was thinking of taking my bike up to Gateway Int. on a Wed. night and take it down the drag strip just for laughs and to see the 1/4mile time. They also got a huge parking lot to ride on there.

for what its worth-I've got 4 bikes. 2 came from ebay sellers, 2 came from other dealers. I had no problems with 1 of the ebay bikes. The other ebay bike had some body damage from shipping and the seller took care of it no problem-he actually sent the wrong part first but then sent out the correct one. I had alot of body damage on one of the non-ebay bikes and although they eventually took care of it-it was a big hassle-no return calls or emails and 2-3 months to get replacement parts. The other non ebay bike had a bad carb and the best they would do was offer me a discount on replacement parts. So really its up to you-I would say that I think most people would prefer a regular dealer but my experience has been 50/50.
110ccman-PM me, I'd head to gateway some night. I've talked to a guy from collinsville on here and a guy in Florissant. Seems like we got alot of riders around here. I'm up in St. Charles(right next to St.Peters where they banned pocket bikes about a week or two ago). I'm kinda busy coming up-I go out of town next week and then in about a month. As soon as stuff slows down for me I'm good to go.
