Question How to remove the clutch

what do you have to do to take off the clutch on these bikes? Is it just those 4 screws on the side that you have to take off?

Re: How to remove the clutch

You need a special clutch nut removal tool and a impact gun or breaker bar would be helpful as well but not absolutely necessary. I sell the clutch nut removal tools for $20 and if you want the stator removal tool as well i have kits for $35

Also you will need a new gasket when you re assemble everything, they are $8 i believe

i hate to step on your toes holeshotz, but to help this guy out...

if you don't wanna wait for a tool to ship to get it done, you can cut an old socket up to make one. just 4 prongs.

No problem, that is a clever idea.

The only thing that the kit does come with that would be hard to fab up is a holder so if you dont have a impact gun you could safely hold the flywheel in place while trying to remove the clutch.

I think i have some pictures, i will try to get em up later in the day.
