there are a few versions and a few manufacturers of the motors, Zongshen and Lifan to name a few.

also Loncin, they seem to be compatible with parts.

There are lots of companies making these engines, Zongshen and Lifan are the best. The engines that come in these bikes are usually knock off's of the Zongshen and Lifan motors, they are ok quality but they use the parts that Zongshen or Lifan would have tossed aside.
