my 2 headlights are not working

since i got my bike the lights startedworking after charging..then a few weeks ago it didnt work no more..and jus to let you know to turn on the headlights the engine has to be on and at the same time the the speedometer and the tachometer lights up too. and last week i went to walmart and bought temporary cheap lights to test it out on my bike . and it didnt work so that means that its not the lights bulb and still my light on my speedometer and tachometer works so that means that the battery is not dead..what can it be?

and if it is electrical problem..im bad at all those wiring things

did you try tracing the bulb wiring all the way to the battery? there could be a problem in the wiring, either it came lose or melted.
