motorman the x18 is a good bike and there are plenty of mods too....so if you want a decent bike with plenty to do to make it faster that is the one ..

yeah seen it...no big deal looks good but it is just that...can't really do much to it.....stay with the X18 there is so many mods and upgrades so you will never get bored with it...........

do an x18 have a governor switch on it

i have the x18 also how did you get it to go 57 i can only get about 35 out of it, is there a gov. and if so where is it????

Hey g60vdub, I would use a GPS to check your speed. I have two x18s and one shows only 33mph when I'm really doing 40 and the other one shows 48 mph when going 40. I'm still doing my initial breakin so I'm keep them at 40 or less but I know I can do over 45 and I'm 6'3" 225lbs.

theres two governors;-im only telling about one though..................the air mixture screw is set to run the engine lean on air and rich on fuel,to make it feel like its flooding-take engine warm it up,-adjust mixture screw 1/4 turn-in wait 15 secs,turn 1/4 again...etc until the engine starts to rev up a lil.stop and back down idle speed adjust to 1500 rpms.the other governor aint the cdi either,lol.peace



plus i hope youre not using regular car oil in the crank!

instead of just turning the screw,-I unscrewed stock copper strand coil wire from coil and plug cap and exchanged for a $6.99 replacement 7.7mm automotive supression spiral core high voltage wire to help combust more fuel and make even more power;- at autozone.The stock copper wire suffers from thermal resistance breakdown.high temp silicone replacements are way better for transferring all the coils potential to the plug tip.After the wire the adjustment was minimal.peace

i need help wit my cag it wont start or anything i put n ew carb on it and new gas new spark plug the only way it will start is if i put gas in the carb
