yeah the x18 is a better bike than the gs57 beacause of the weight factor but as for as durability the gs57 win because of the frame could hold alot more torque the x18 is nothing but a big ver of the x-7 just alot heavyer like 77 more pounds heavy,i just order 120cc lifan eng with a inner rotor to get rid of the mass off the shaft + a 26mm kitaco carb with a short intake,crower cam should be next the 110 is about to comeoff and i would be moding it to my son 49cc x7 .

My Warrantee does not expire until January 25th 2005.

my x7/r6 was $850 but my friend got him down to $750 when he bought it from a shop here last july

How is the torque on the X18, is it good enough to do wheelies? Does it pull good all the way through the gears?

i also just got a x18 and i have two hose that are connected at different place but are not conected to any thing else. should it be like that and what is it?

There should be a total of 4. 2 for the carb (upper and lower), and two at the back of the engine. These are breathers. They are supposed to look like that.

I have them too and believe these to be breather or overflow hoses. And yes, the 18 pulls hard. It climbs hills while accellerating in 2nd. Could prolly do it in third, but not accelerate as hard.

Recent X18 purchasers: Check that no part of your wiring harness gets into the stops on the lower triple-clamp. I lost my headlights for a bit because of this.

This is going to be my first pocket bike...I think it looks amazing and larger in size for bigger guys like myself.

I live in IL and want to check into getting plates for it....has anyone had any luck getting plates for their bike? I would still get it either way, but it would be fun to legally cruise around the streets.

Calm down they did the same thing to me, check out one of back the 1st threads i made. i FREAKED OUT because they didn't email me back or answer their phones. Just give it a day or 2. I got mine delivered to my door in less than 2.5 weeks, which is very fast. It's worth the wait and everything was ship-shape when it arrived.
