Oils and break in procedure

I've just ordered a 110cc 4 speed bike and it should arrive in 2 weeks. Before it arrives i would like to make sure i've got everything right. Ok first off.

Drain the stock oil and replace with a proper quality oil ( preferbly a proper brand i.e Honda ),

Add blue loctite to all nuts and bolts,

Use PREMIUM petrol,

Dont go above 3/4 throttle for 2-3 tanks with varying rpms,

And finally dont let bike get to hot.

Is this all correct and is there anything im missing? any help appreciated!!

hey where did you buy the bike from?
use mineral oil, until the bike is run in then use full synthetic.
my hydraulic breaks work better now that I changed the oil in that also.
there is a few other things like adjusting the chain slack and aligning the rear wheel.

thanks for the reply, i got the bike off ebay, its one of those thumpster style dirt bikes, same engine as super bike though. Is there any reccomended MINERAL oil i should use before i switch to the Honda brand? Is normal brake fluid for motorbikes alright to use?
Thanks for the help!!!!

use 10w30 or 10w40 any good brand oil for motorbikes should be fine.
and for your breaks use dot3 or dot4 hydraulic fluid.

yeah... my opinion is... what break in period? get it, run petroleum oil in it, then just take it out and see what it's got. Sure, you could take it easy but the rings seat a lot better within the first 10 miles at wide open then 500 miles at half throttle.. if you get my drift.

Im not doubting you, but the engines first moments of life are the most important as you are probably aware, so wouldn't taking it easy be the prefered option? cause the engine 'parts' (valves etc) need to 'wiggle' there into their position as there not in the perfect spot from the factory, and if there stressed when there not in their desired position..........anyway ill try a mixture of both.
Thanks for the help everyone!!!
