not to sway you from your decision, but, sinced you asked......

Don't have any high expectations as you would if you were buying a D O T approved bike from your local M/C dealer.

With that said, expect this bike not to be any different than if one was to buy any of the X-type bikes......buyer beware.

Re: pheonix? full sized?

Im also wondering about how difficult it will be to attain the 200cc version which interests me the most. I want decent power without getting killed by the insurance companies. By the way, im very confused, a few weeks ago there was a lot of buzz going on with this bike and everyone was talking about it. Badazz promised a full review 2 weeks ago but now every one shut up. What happened? Cmon badazz im very eager to hear more!!

Re: pheonix? full sized?

Does anyone know if the mounting/size configuration of a 125cc engine is the same as a 200cc or even a 250cc? Maybe the ideal thing to do with this bike would be to buy the 125cc version, sell it on ebay and buy a cheap 200/250cc lifan as a replacement? I mean ive looked on ebay and I would exactly lose too much money by selling the 125cc. Maybe $150 at the most but thats a small price to pay for a reliable engine with more power huh? What do you guys think??

Re: pheonix? full sized?

it's not the same, it's a crf50 type engine. You could slap a 125cc engine, or a souped up 140cc gpx in there and it would go pretty good

Re: pheonix? full sized?

I thought the config was similar to the X bikes. Like you could fit a 125cc in the stock 110cc mount. Too bad, I basically want a powerfull engine (200cc-250cc) so I can go down a few teeth so I can have really nice low end power while still have an 80mph top speed.

Are there brand-name street bikes you can get used for $1g? Say 200-500cc?

Yes, used. However, they lack the modern look and/or technology.

Here is a small list, kawasaki Ninja 250, Ninja 500, Suzuki Gs500, Yamaha FZ400, Honda CB1 (400cc) & Honda Hawk 400. You can find any one of these bikes 2k & under, depending on their condition and/or mileage.

Re: pheonix? full sized?

Any body here that reside in Nor Cal (norhtern California) interested in one of these bikes?

We have a local owner selling an all Black Phoenix 125cc for $1100.00

If so, PM me and I will get you in touch with the owner.
