Registering x12 in Fort Lauderdale

Has anyone registered a x12 in Fort Lauderdale, Fl...I have the opportunity to trade on my drag x7 for 2 x12s (one 49cc 4 speed and one 110cc 4 speed)...I was wondering if anyone in my area has ever legalized a x12 because i do allot of riding in my neighborhood (big golf course area)..right now the police dont bother me but i know they are going to start soon because of all the 2 strokes around making allot of annoying noise...so any steps that i have to take would be worth it...please let me know..thanks
