to whoever made the coment about not being able to turbo charge 2 strokes.....YOU CAN AND IT HAS BEN DONE.....there is a company that offers turbo kits for the Yamaha Banshee....its a fuel injenction setup....but its still a 2 stroke in the end....and it makes about 125 HP at the wheels and sounds like a indy car

yeah....this post isnt all that popular cause we have never really seen the thing run....hear what kind of boost it makes.....or see dyno numbers.....whats the word with it now.....when will it be runnin good

daaamn 125hp? thats like the same amount hp than hte Yamaha R-6 and that weighs like a few hundred pounds less! id be scared!!

i read on another forum that adding forced induction to a 2stroke is pointless cause it wont give a chance for the reeds to close and build pressure. but i guess anything is possible.

hope this isn't a useless question but how does the whole reed carb system work? i am familiar with 4 barrell carbs but not much else besides fuel injection.
do chainsaw, lawnmower, and weedeater motors work the same way? what is a velocity stack and hot does it work?

What are you using to controll your boost?
What brand waste gate?

Its a IHI RHB3, the RHF is a ballbearing turbo and way over priced. The turbo were using isnt cheap anymore cause IHI had a price increase. Cost is about $900.00 on the turbo we are using. When we ordered the turbo about 8 months ago itwas around 500.

Sure we can make other kits when we get this 1 running perfect. Cost on a kit would not be cheap est price would be over $1000 dollars dont have a exact price since we used some used parts. We will build kits for those who are interested.

TurboTek is the only company that CUSTOM makes them they cost around 600-800 bucks...pm turbotek for more info.
