That's who my son is racing with. We're resurrecting the X-18 as we speak, so he'll be running both the NSR and that.

What they did to make the class larger was to mix the 4t's with modd'd 2 stroke mids which made for fun racing big time.
I myself wouldn't care if there were only 2 other riders. If they were die hard racers like myself. We wouldn't even notice that there were other racers out there.

Re: Why can't midbikes race in clubs

LOL I know this is an old thread to dig up.But i couldn't resist. This is for the negative remarks that was made about tracking an X-bike.I wish some of these guys were still here to witness how far these bikes have came as far as a trackbike and not being able to compete.

Well i managed to put the hurt on a crf 150r motard, ran toe to toe with a ttr 230 motard. Then lap a few ysr's multiple times starting from pit lane and being held up a few seconds to give them a head start. Plus ran faster laptimes than the unlimited mod class euro pocketbikes on i track that was my first time visiting. All on an X-18 X-bike.So my conclusion is.Yes they can be competitive and made track worthy.
